The school districts in Hillsborough and Duval counties received a waiver that allowed them to use federal funding for the 2009-2010 academic year to offer financial incentives to teachers at low-performing schools. In the maps below, you can review detailed information about the schools that offered these teacher incentives. Other data from the Florida Department of Education include total students between the ages of 5 and 17 enrolled at Title I schools; the percentage of students who qualified for reduced or free lunches at these schools; school grades for 2008, 2009 and 2010; and the percentage of students meeting state standards on math, reading, science and writing during the 2009-2010 academic year. These maps do not include schools that may have offered teacher incentives using other funding sources. Stimulus funding data was not available for all schools.
