The Florida Center for Investigative Reporting will host a live Twitter chat on Tues., April 10, at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the news media’s coverage of the shooting of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in Sanford. Topics will include how the shooting has been covered, Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, the 911 tapes and crime in Sanford.

FCIR blogger/reporter Howard Goodman (@hjgoodman49) and FCIR contributor and Orlando-based freelance reporter Amy Green (@amybgreen) will take questions from FCIR Social Media Manager Erica Hernandez and others.
